Founded in 1592, Trinity occupies a walled campus of cobbled squares in the middle of Dublin, with the Old Library and the Book of Kells at its centre.

It is the most selective Irish university and its computer science, business and engineering schools take substantial international cohorts. Dublin rents are the highest in Ireland, so housing needs arranging early.
